| Synopsis|
With this workshop, trainees will be able to build a ceramic piece autonomously, specifically in the field of the human figure, being able to recognize and apply proportions and shapes, building proportionate and technically operational figures in the field of ceramic sculpture. There will also be room for creativity, creating a piece of personal character in the last module.

Sandra Afonso (Aveiro, 1978), graduated in Visual Arts – Sculpture at the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Porto.

| Dates and times |
> Study of the hand – It is intended that trainees master the structure of the hand and be able to master the technique and expressiveness necessary to model it in clay.

March 03, Friday from 18:00 to 22:00

March 4th, Saturday from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm

> Study of the head – Realization of a bust from a photograph (brought by the trainees), apprehension of the basic shape of a head (skull and surrounding musculature) until reaching the resemblance to the portrayed.

March 10, Friday from 18:00 to 22:00

March 11, Saturday from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm and from 2:00 pm to 7:00 pm

> Study of the human figure using a live model – Study of a seated figure, the structure, proportions and similarities achieved with the real model.

March 17, Friday from 18:00 to 22:00

March 18, Saturday from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm and from 2:00 pm to 7:00 pm

March 19, Sunday from 09:00 to 13:00

> Self-representation – Study for a piece of a creative nature using the seized modeling technique.

April 1, Saturday from 10 am to 1 pm and from 2 pm to 7 pm

ALL MATERIALS ARE INCLUDED | The pieces will go into the oven at 1000oC and will be delivered on a date to be defined later.
