We Need Your Support!
We are looking for sponsors and donators to help make this page the go-to page for cultural events at Portugals Algarve. A page like this needs a lot of time and also money to pay for hosting, professional plugins and internet services like Google Maps for locations and maps. Please contact Marc Mennigmann if you want to help to build this up by donating some time, money, or connections.

What is on in Algarve 2023?
Well, it will appear on this site for sure. There will be concerts by world-class performers, International gourmet and sporting events, traditional fairs, medieval festivals, workshops, Yoga retreats, and fun party nights and all take place in the Algarve throughout the year.
Who is this website for?
This website is for concert promoters, musicians, club owners, market organisers, workshop organisers, but of course also for anyone interested in events in the greater Algarve region of Portugal.
The main reason for creating the website was that the Algarve is known for its beaches and golf courses, but not for its cultural offerings. We see this as a major deficit in terms of tourism. Many people want to do something else on holiday than just lie on the beach and hit golf balls around. Therefore, the Algarve needs an information source for all cultural events, like concerts, expat seminars, festivals, exhibitions, sports events, charity events, cinema listings, and so on. The more diversified the better. Some of the information on this website is wrong! What can I do?
The information on this website relies on the people adding it, like organisers, venue owners, musicians, etc. When they enter something wrong, it will still be listed here. We think that in their own interest they will try to make sure that the information is as accurate as possible. Anyway, when there are mistakes, wrong dates, cancelled events or anything that is different from reality, please let us know by sending a short email. We will try to correct the wrong information as soon as possible.
Is posting events really for free?
Well, yes. We know that it is very costly to organise an event, and especially for small clubs and locations it is often uneconomical to advertise on top of the event costs. So we try to offer publishing events on this site for free. Better pay the musicians or artists a good fee!
Nevertheless, we ask for fair play. If you make a good profit with your event, please remember this small, privately funded website and donate so that we can continue to offer this service for free to others. Every euro helps. Thank you!Can I also post my concerts as an artist?
Sure, no problem with that! While entering the data of your concert you can select from the current list of locations. If you can not find the location you are looking for, please add it to our database. It is easy and helps your event to be found. The owner of the location can later claim the database entry to edit is and add more information.
Why is the content of this site in English and not Portuguese?
The main goal of this site is to make the Algarve and its events more attractive to an international audience. This audience is usually not speaking Portuguese. We plan to add automatic translations to the content of this site to make it even easier for example for Germans, Italians, or French people to find the event and information they are looking for, but English will always be the language for posting your content.
