LAC – Laboratório de Actividades Criativas is pleased to announce the concert of Comodoro Amigo and M-PeX, two artists in residence at LAC, who will present their new albums. Comodoro Amigo will present the album “Atari Hanzo”, while M-PeX will present the album “CYNETIK-1”.

“Atari Hanzo” is Comodoro Amigo’s debut album. This musical work, produced with the Moreia Elétrica label, is a celebration of geek imagery converted to pop culture. Lo-fi electronics and organic instruments are combined to create an innovative sound. This album is an expression of the memory of a time inspired by retro aesthetics, but presented with contemporary applicability.

“CYNETIK-1” is M-PeX’s 14th original album, produced within the PRALAC artistic residency developed at LAC. This work incorporates the sound of the Portuguese guitar with programmed sounds, exploring field recordings and cinematic soundscapes captured in the village of Burgau. This is an ambient electronic album that creates a unique and immersive atmosphere.
