Synopsis: Based on the hit film starring Whoopi Goldberg, the story follows Deloris van Cartier, a woman forced into hiding in a convent. There, in a story filled with hilarious and heartbreaking twists, she helps her sisters find their voices while rediscovering her own.

Written by Joseph Howard, presented by arrangement with Music Theatre International, all authorized performance materials are provided by MTI. The gospel and disco music was written by Oscar and Tony Award-winning composer Alan Menken. The lyrics are by Glenn Slater and the truly moving story was written by Cheri and Bill Steinkellner with additional material from the book by Douglas Carter Beane. Based on the film “Sister Act” by Touchstone Pictures.

Sinopse: Baseada no filme de grande sucesso protagonizado por Whoopi Goldberg, a história segue Deloris van Cartier, uma mulher forçada a esconder-se num convento. Lá, numa história repleta de reviravoltas hilariantes e comoventes, ela ajuda as suas irmãs a encontrar as suas vozes enquanto redescobre a sua.

Escrito por Joseph Howard, apresentado mediante acordo com a Music Theatre Internationall, todos os materiais de performance autorizados são fornecidos pela MTI. A música gospel e disco foi escrita pelo compositor vencedor de um Óscar e de um Tony, Alan Menken. A letra é de Glenn Slater e a história verdadeiramente comovente foi escrita por Cheri e Bill Steinkellner com material adicional do livro de Douglas Carter Beane. Com base no filme “Sister Act” da Touchstone Pictures.
